Yay! (another) new blog!

Four blogs isn't too many, right? Nah.

The Veg Nosh Manifesto:

Veg Nosh will be a blog where I record my successes and not-so-successes with cooking. I primarily use my cookbook recipes, although my husband and I have a few of our own creations. I have been so into cooking and trying out new recipes, that I figured I'd share my experiments. There's nothing worse than investing time in cooking and money in ingredients and then making something that turns out to be a bunk recipe. So far, the books that I'll be reviewing recipes from are my tried and true (and stained up) faves:

La Dolce Vegan by Sarah Kramer: I love this book! So many of the recipes are over the moon, and a few have become regular staples in our diets. SK has a few books out, the early ones are co-authored with Tanya Barnard. I have one, but don't use it a whole lot.

The Compassionate Cook by PETA and Ingrid Newkirk: This is an older book that is unfortunately out of print. I highly recommend buying any copy you can find on Amazon, ebay, whatevers. It's SO good, and has some serious winners in it.

Vegan with a Vengence by Isa Chandra Moskowitz: I haven't explored this one too much yet, but what I've tried is worth writing about

Vegan Brunch by Isa Chandra Moskowitz: Sweet, Savory and Delicious!

I won't reprint any recipes, but if there are links on other sites, I'll hook you up. There's also the J-R household-created recipes that I can share, along with a few others that I found online.

I'm also happy to accept suggestions for books or tasty vegan recipes! Thanks for readin'!
